KD-500 - Dodge / Chrysler Hemi 325 KD-500 Dodge released a 325
cu in engine for 1957. The engine used a 3.6875 in bore and 3.80 in stroke. The
base engine offering was a polyspheric chambered head referenced as KDS, and a
higher performance 325 was offered with Hemi heads as the ‘KD-500’. All engines
now, however, had hydraulic camshafts even though the Hemi headed offerings
sported dimples in the valve covers for mechanical adjuster clearance. This Engine turns and ran when removed from a 1957 Dodge D500. Both Left and Right exhaust manifolds have NO cracks, valve covers have sported dimples, valve covers are powder coated. engine is sold as/is where/is. local pick up OK. Thu, 27 Sep 2012The McLaren P1 – spiritual successor to the iconic McLaren F1 – has been publicly revealed at the 2012 Paris Motor Show. Still, we do have more details on the P1 concept that McLaren say will turn in to a production car in 2013 before it finds its way in to the garages of wealthy McLaren customers in 2014. The McLaren P1 is designed to be “…the best driver’s car in the world on road and track” according to McLaren, which is setting the bar a bit higher than high, and the concept P1 at Paris is – at least in terms of what we can see – 95 per cent of what the production model will be.
