BMW 316d (2009) first official pictures

By James Popsys First Official Pictures 25 June 2009 09:58 BMW has announced its cleanest and most efficient 3-series ever – the 316d ES saloon. According to BMW, the 316d emits under 120g/km CO2, and sips fuel at a rate of 62.8mpg, giving it a theoretical range of over 800 miles on a single tank. It might say 316d on the boot badge, but the engine under the bonnet is actually a 2.0-litre diesel.

'Grand Bentley' preview (Video)

Bentley is teasing us with a preview video of its forthcoming 'Grand Bentley', which shows only sections of the car's flowing shoulder, hood and grille. The all-new new car, which will debut at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance this summer, is claimed to be 'exceptional in all respects on the road' as well as 'the purest expression of the Bentley spirit'. It has been designed, engineered and built in Crewe, England and will be the replacement for the aging Arnage.

Renault Dezir concept (2010) first official pictures

These are the first pictures of the Renault Dezir, a sporty Clio-sized electric concept set to be unveiled at the Paris motor show in September 2010. This is the first car produced under the watch of new design director Laurens van den Acker, who's charged with reinvigorating the Renault range after Patrick le Quement's departure. The Dezir concept car heralds a new design language for Renault, which has seen the small car market become increasingly chic (think Citroen DS3) yet it's soldiered on with just the Clio and, now, the Wind Roadster.
