If you've always wanted a Mercedes, this is a first step! Even if you don't have a car to bolt it to, It will add a touch of class to your garage, "wreck room" or man cave. It is suitably aged as is appropriate for the '50s car that it originally graced. For the crowning touch you can easily source a star emblem from another Ebay supplier. The shell on this grill is in good condition and undented. The chrome "Radiator Cap" has some pits in it. No Star emblem is included, The mesh grill has some dents but is unbroken. The trim strips are all there but some are bent. The 220S emblem is tarnished, but it wasn't part of the original grill assembly. The grill is a good restorable addition for the 220S. I believe it will also fit other models in this series but you should verify this if you want to fit it to another car.

Lexus Hybrid sales top half a million
Sat, 22 Dec 2012Lexus has revealed that they’ve sold more than 500,000 hybrid cars, with the Rx 450h the top seller and the CT 200h catching fast. Unsurprisingly, as it was the first Lexus hybrid to be introduced in 2005, the biggest seller - accounting for half of all Lexus hybrid sales to date (259,000) – has been the RX 400h / RX 450h, but the CT 200h, which was only introduced in 2011, is catching up fast with sales to date of 122,000 to date. During the last seven years Lexus hybrid sales have risen from 26,000 to 113,000 a year and 25 per cent of those Lexus hybrid sales now happen in Europe, even though we don’t get cars like the HS 250h (56,000 sales) and the ES 300h (8,000 sales).

Although we’ve been looking at the Jaguar F-Type Roadster (albeit with a black and white camouflage paint job) since April, it doesn’t officially arrive until Paris next month. But Jaguar has learnt that the Interwebs like a constant drip of new information on hotly anticipated cars, so they’ve dropped a new video for the F-Type focussing on its performance.
