1957 OLDSMOBILE HUBCAP

THESE  CAPS ARE GETTING HARDER TO FIND AND REALLY COOL TO DISPLAY IN THE TRUNK IF YOU ARE RUNNING CUSTOM WHEELS.  WONDERFUL CAR WALL ART TOO FROM A TIME WHEN U.S. MANUFACTURES ACTUALLY STYLED THEIR OFFERINGS WITH UNIQUENSS.

PLEASE READ ALL OF THE FOLLOWING...ON TO THE DESCRIPTION.  THIS IS AN UNRESTORED CAP THAT IS IN VERY GOOD OVERALL CONDITION.  IT SUFFERS FROM A LITTLE TYPICAL WEAR INCLUDING A COUPLE OF TINY DINGS, BB IN SIZE AND SOME SURFACE SCRATCHES.  A COUPLE OF TINY DINGS ARE OUTIES FROM THE BACK SIDE.  OVERALL FOR A CAP OF THIS AGE THERE IS VERY LITTLE OF THIS.  WE RARELY FIND 57 OLDS CAPS ANYMORE AND THIS IS THE NICEST ONE WE HAVE FOUND IN YEARS.

ANYWAY, IT'S NOT PERFECT FRIENDS, NONE OF THESE OLD CAPS ARE.  HOWEVER IT IS A REASONABLY PRICED, VERY GOOD, UNRESTORED EXAMPLE THAT WOULD SERVE MANY OWNERS WELL.    PLEASE LOOK AT THE PICS CLOSELY AND USE THE ZOOM FEATURE BEFORE BIDDING.

COOL EXAMPLE FROM A DAY GONE BY.  ON A SCALE OF 1-5 WITH 5 AS THE HIGH, BASED ON AGE, RARITY & CONDITION I RATE IT A 4+.

ONE OTHER COMMENT, WE SPENT A SEVERAL WEEKENDS AT SOME OF THE LARGEST SWAP MEETS IN THE MIDWEST OVER THE LAST FEW YEARS.  HUNDREDS OF VENDORS, THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE AND NONE OF THESE.  TAKE A CLOSE LOOK AT THEM.  WE ALSO ATTEND BARRETT JACKSON AND MECUM AUCTIONS REGULARLY. THE POINT IS THIS.  ONLY THE FINEST AND ULTRA EXPENSIVE CARS SEEM TO HAVE PERFECT TRIM.

I try to be honest about what I sell.  Almost all of these old hubcaps have imperfections.  Unless you are willing to spend hundreds for a set the best you can do are look for those in decent shape which these are.

WE SHIP ALL OVER THE WORLD!

WE COMBINE SHIPPING AND HANDLING ON MULTIPLE ITEMS TOO.

These old car parts are becoming more and more scarce.  After 10 years of selling over a 7000 items we've come to this conclusion.   If we can't sell the parts for a reasonable price, we're going to warehouse them. This is especially true of the nice parts and more unusual parts.  All they can do is go up in value.  Our point is this.  We've got the space and the means to collect and store what we sell.  Having said that don't be surprised if we run an item only once or twice and if it doesn't sell it doesn't show back up.  Please don't misunderstand us.  We want and do appreciate your business.  It just doesn't make sense to us to spend time and money relisting items over and over when almost all of these parts have only one way to go in the future.  UP.

PLEASE NOTE:  DUE TO SEVERAL NON-PAYERS WE HAVE ADDED THE FOLLOWING STATEMENT MEANT FOR THOSE TYPE OF BIDDERS.  WHILE THE VAST MAJORITY OF BUYERS PAY FOR WHAT THEY BID ON, WE HAVE RECENTLY SEEN A SIGNIFICANT INCREASE IN UNPAID ITEMS.  SO>>>IF YOU PLAN ON BIDDING PLEASE PLAN ON PAYING.   THANKS.  HAPPY BIDDING.

This is the limited edition Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG DR 520. That's a very long name for a very powerful family saloon.   Aside from the fact that there will be only 20 built, this car has 513bhp and 480lb ft of torque.

Renaultsport Clio 200 Turbo (2012) first pictures

Thu, 27 Sep 2012

This is the new Renaultsport Clio 200 Turbo. And as those last two words signify that although this new Clio RS has no more horsepower than its predecessor, it is now turbocharged. Outgoes the old hot Clio’s naturally aspirated 197bhp 2.0-litre engine, in comes a blown 1.6 with the same output, and rather than a six-speed manual gearbox the front wheels are now only driven via a double-clutch gearbox.
