| This is an AC fuel filter which was used on the 1957 factory supercharged Thunderbirds. This filter is complete with an NOS element, AC raised in the casting on the top, AC glass bowl, pair of NOS brass fuel line connectors and the flexible fuel return line. This filter was mounted as shown in the picture with the glass bowl pointing upward. Inside the filter a tube removes excess fuel pressure and returns it to the gas tank via a flexible fuel line which connects to a second set of steel fuel lines which go to the gas tank. Perfect for replacing a missing or damaged supercharged fuel filter and for a concours restoration. Err, yes – we also feel the SC250’s looks might be a bit of a stumbling block to someone about to flash the best part of £30k on a track-based racer.
