This is a new molded hose which attaches to the factory supercharged air cleaner on all 1957 factory supercharged, "F" model Thunderbirds. One end of the hose fastens to the air cleaner (as shown in the picture) and the other end attached to a flex hose which goes to the rear of the VR supercharger. This molded hose is an exact copy of the original and includes the Ford Motor Company engineering number. The hose is made from a high quality, high temperature neoprene material with the correct bends. Perfect for concours restoration! Sat, 19 Nov 2011New Porsche Panamera GTS takes to the track The new Porsche Panamera GTS is the latest Panamera variant to arrive – the ninth Panamera, no less – and is, as all Porsche GTS models are, a harder-edged take on the more mainstream variants. With its naturally aspirated 4.8 litre V8 producing 425bhp, and pushing those horses through a PDK ‘box to all four wheels, the Panamera can scoot to 62mph in a very respectable 4.5 seconds on its way to a top speed of 179mph. Not bad for a big saloon car that eschews forced induction and can carry proper-sized passengers in comfort.

Sat, 22 May 2010The Infiniti Teaser for two Pebble Beach reveals Infiniti – Nissan’s luxury lot who are struggling to get a foothold in the UK and Europe – like the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. They launched the new Infiniti M there last year and the event opened with the Infiniti Essence Concept. Which is hardly a huge surprise as the US is Infiniti’s biggest market. It competes on even-ish terms with Lexus across the Pond, whereas it had managed to sell just 60 cars in the UK up until February.
Mercedes-Benz reveals new V-class
Thu, 30 Jan 2014Mercedes-Benz has returned to the luxury MPV ranks with a resurrection of the V-class – the commercial vehicle based multiseat van first introduced to the German car maker’s lineup in 1996. Positioned as an upmarket rival to the likes of the popular Volkswagen Multivan, the new V-class was conceived and developed in a joint-engineering program with the third-generation Vito, which it will be produced with at Mercedes-Benz’s Vitoria factory in Spain. Set to go on sale in Europe shortly after its public debut at the Geneva auto show in early March, the V-class is being considered for sale in the U.S.
