This is an original front bumper spacer which was used on all 1957 Thunderbirds. This bracket goes between the painted sheet metal end deflector and the end support brace. The two dots on the face of the spacer which you see in the first picture identify it as a Ford original. It's in excellent used condition and includes an NEW factory correct heardware bolt, washer and nut kit, ready to install. Sun, 28 Apr 2013The V8 diesel is not exactly the most common engine on offer, but it is an engine Ford makes and is probably best known as the engine of choice in the new Range Rover and the new 2014 Range Rover Sport (finally). We’ve also been championing its credentials as a perfect V8 diesel engine for Jaguar’s XJ, but Jaguar don’t seem to be listening. But it’s not just Land Rover who’ve got a big V8 diesel in an appealing road car, Porsche also has the new Cayenne diesel S complete with a V8 diesel with oodles of torque, the promise of great headline economy when you’re poodling and a 0-62mph in just 5.7 seconds.

Ahead of the arrival of BMW’s big coupe in UK showrooms, BMW has sent us a huge gallery of 6-Series photos together with price and model details specific to the UK. Three engines will be on offer in the 6-Series Coupe – at least until BMW get round to the new M6 Coupe – with two petrol engines and one diesel engine offered, although BMW expect a full 90 per cent of all 6-series coupes sold in the UK to be specified with the 3.0 litre diesel.

The Cobo Hall has been rearranged this year to reflect the change in ownership, and so we enjoyed the juxtaposition of a Ferrari 599XX alongside a Dodge Viper. Slightly less easy on the eye was the abomination that was the Chrysler Chrysler.
