This is an original 16 page color article carefully removed from Collectible Automobile (2001) on Chevy's new top-of-the-line model - the 1958 -1965 Chevy Impala! The article has beautiful color pictures and interesting development of this top-of-the line Chevy series, in all models - hardtop, convertible Super Sport and 4 door hardtops! All the styling and engineering changes are detailed from year to year, as well as engines and performance. Included are many prototype pictures of models that never made it to production, along with some mid-50s Impala show cars. There is also a chart of the prices, weights and production figures for all the 1958 - 1965 Impalas. This is a rare find for the Chevy fan! Next thing we know, we're reading about the resumption of Moke production in China over at Hemmings and everything is sunshine and rainbows once again.

Mon, 18 Jun 2012A production version of the Mitsubishi Outlander Plug-in Hybrid (PHEV) will debut at the Paris Motor Show in September. Mitsubishi has already had a couple of stabs at a plug-in hybrid Outlander EV, with the PX-MiEV at the Tokyo Motor Show in 2009 and then again with the imaginatively named PX-MiEV II at last year’s Tokyo Show. But now we’re about to get the production version.

And yet, despite its tepid performance, questionable off-road ability and tendency to rust, it was a runaway success. And let's face it, the Mini Moke remains one of the coolest cars ever created.
