Here is a old Delco distributor that was used in Chevrolet 283 V-8 motors from 1957 to about 1964 . This one does not have the original ID tag on it so I do not know what it came out of. It is dirty but still spins nicely and can be cleaned up and used agian. Check out my E-bay store for other items.

UK drivers risk Euro fines
Tue, 15 Apr 2014ONE IN FIVE drivers from the UK risks being fined when travelling in Europe due to not carrying the correct travel kit. Laws in Europe vary between countries but most demand every car has a warning triangle in case of a breakdown. In a survey by the AA, it found a third (37%) of British drivers did not know they needed to carry a high visibility jacket to comply with French law.
SsangYong Korando 4×4 gets cheaper with arrival of the Korando SX
Mon, 18 Jun 2012SssangYong has dropped the entry price for its 4WD C-Segment SUV Korando with the launch of the Korando SX. SsangYong is the Korean car maker that hasn’t yet quite managed to drag itself out of the bin marked ‘Oh, dear’, but the takeover of SsangYong by the deep-pocketed Mahindra and the launch of the seemingly convincing SsangYong Korando Crossover/SUV last year auger well. The Korando is aimed at cars like the Hyundai ix35 and Kia Sportage, and it seems a decent enough offering in a slightly generic way (even if it is penned by Giugiaro), with a 2.0 litre turbo diesel with a decent enough 173bhp and with a choice of auto or manual, FWD or 4WD.
