This is an ORIGINAL, FoMoCo USA made, new old stock (N.O.S.) voltage regulator assembly. Never been on a car!
Has "FoMoCo" script and "15V 40A" on regulator. (**Not the cheap aftermarket decal you can slap on**) Legit original NOS regulator!! Comes in original box with part number but box has had top cut open and at some point someone crossed out the original part number even though it matches the number on the part From my research, this 15V 40A voltage regulator is CORRECT for a 1961 Ford Thunderbird with air conditioning and power accessories such as an electric wiper motor. May fit other Thunderbirds such as 1958 1959 1960 1962 1963 1964 or used in other Ford, Lincoln, Mercury, and Edsel application **Double check your parts books and compare my pictures and your knowledge to verify correct application for your vehicle. We’re not entirely sure how relevant a new UK speed record for an electric car is, but let’s be parochial and report it anyway. The ‘Nemesis’ is an electric car built round a second hand Lotus Exige, bought off eBay, by a team of engineers in a shed in Norfolk and driven by an Estate Agent from Gloucestershire.
