Condition:New Manufacturer Part Number:3989350 Warranty:No Placement on Vehicle:Left, Right Part Brand:GM

This auction is for one (1) rubber GROMMET for a GM valve cover. These grommets fit in one of two different locations: On the left side valve cover it's usually where the PCV valve inserts into. On the right side valve cover it's usually where the air cleaner breather tube fits into. These are NOS (new old stock) genuine GM parts. You can tell they are the original ones as one of the sides is squared off (see close up photo). Any non-OEM, aftermarket, reproduction grommets usually are completely round and are not "correct". The factory ones are not round. Also, on the aftermarket ones the rubber is inferior and rots prematurely. Genuine GM parts are the best for your Corvette (or other GM muscle car).

These grommets came in a bag of ten items per bag just as seen in photos. Each part has the correct part number stamped on the backside as seen in one of the photos. If you buy one, it will be removed from the bag seen in the photos and shipped without a box (if you buy 10, I could ship them to you all in the unopened bag). Otherwise, they will come individually. It's guaranteed you will receive one of them items from the original GM plastic parts bag as seen in photos. Check the part number on the backside of each item.

NOTE: The valve cover is there in one of the photos to illustrate where the grommet fits in it. This auction does not include a valve cover.

Shipping & handling is $2.75 for one. Any additional ones are only $0.25 each.

Thanks.

Cars today have evolved and been refined to an extraordinary degree, but carmakers – and car designers – are still always looking for ‘the next big thing'. Yet despite a myriad of recent technical innovations, ask the man on the street what is the problem with cars of today, and he'll likely reply along the lines of "they all look the same". Mass production processes, packaging requirements and safety and regulatory constraints are just a few of the reasons why it is hard to make a car that looks truly different.
