I was going to use these myself but the chrome was too bad to run as is. They have a factory chrome coating and factory black paint. From what I have gathered so far this may have been a first half of 1958. I don't believe it was any thing special as this was an undisturbed 2 barrel 332 from a Ranch Wagon. My early 58 Thunderbird 352's stamped parts are the same way. Picture shows two smooth dings. These have surface rust where the chrome cam off, NO RUST HOLES. They are partially soda blasted and when finished could be smoothed out with sandable primer. The reinforcement lip on rail is unique to 58 and 59. The center spark plug separators I believe unique to early Ford. I believe all Edsel 361 and 427 valve covers were up front. These will clear OEM adjustable rockers.

Lexus CT 200h by Fox Marketing gets a Supercharger and 300bhp You may recall, at the end of last month, we reported on the Lexus CT 200h by Fox Marketing, a pimped and tarted Lexus CT 200h which was going to feature a supercharger bolted to its HSD. At the time we had precious little detail beyond a photo of a CT 200h being endowed with go-faster body and primed for a paint job. But now, with the reveal at the New York Motor Show, we have a little more.

Eterniti Hemera: The tease continues

Eterniti Hemera - the first image You may remember that we ran a story a few weeks ago about a mysterious ‘new’ luxury SUV from a new car company – the Eterniti Hemera. Well, they’re back with a bit more of a drip-feed of information as the debut of their first car – which they dub “… the world’s first Super-SUV” – grows closer. We’d speculated that Eterniti wasn’t a car maker but was instead an after-market customiser; simply taking an existing car and making it ‘special’.

Aston Martin V12 Vantage S arrives – the quickest production Aston ever (video)

Wed, 29 May 2013

The new, more powerful, Aston Martin V12 Vantage S arrives Aston Martin has been teasing something ‘Coming soon’ for a few days, and here it is – the new V12 Vantage S. The new S replaces the V12 Vantage (which we knew Aston Martin had stopped building) and gets Aston’s latest AM28 version of the venerable V12 with 565bhp and 457lb/ft of torque thanks to new engine management, combustion chambers and camshafts resulting in more power and a much flatter torque curve. The extra power has pushed the V12 S beyond the 200nph barrier, with the top speed now 205mph and, we assume, a quicker sprint to 62mph, but Aston Martin aren’t letting on how much quicker the V12 S is.
