Mon, 14 Jan 2008By Tim Pollard First Official Pictures 14 January 2008 00:59 Mitsubishi picked an elegant way to signal its intention to sell more diesel models in the US; its Concept-RA unveiled today in Detroit is a slinky two-seater coupe that's more likely to turn heads for its sharp looks than its 2.2-litre turbodiesel. It also points to the new Eclipse, which could come to Europe next time round. The sports car is one of the best-looking concepts shown by Mitsubishi for ages, its bright red paintwork contrasted by matt black finish on certain functional body parts, including the top of the engine which actually forms part of the bonnet.
UK motorway to charge moving electric cars

This would see electric vehicles gain additional charge as they passed over wireless charging nodes embedded in the motorway’s road surface. Wed, 16 Jan 2008By Ben Oliver First Official Pictures 16 January 2008 04:07 Cadillac showed three major new models at Detroit, and pulled off one of the show’s few surprises by keeping its new CTS Coupe completely secret until it was officially unveiled. It also revealed the 550bhp CTS-V and the Provoq small SUV concept (see separate story). Although branded as a concept, the striking, angular two-door four-seat CTS Coupe will come to Europe in 2010 and will come here because it is based on the CTS saloon platform which will be offered in right-hand drive in the UK and other overseas markets.
