The mirror is showing its age in that there are several areas where the mirroring has worn off. Even with the imperfections it would still be usable. The stainless steel backing of the mirror has very light minor scratches consistent with daily use. The white area around the words “Day” and “Night” has worn off, consistent with use, and would have to be repainted. The original bracket has minor sand sized sprinkles of pitting and three scratches about 2 inches above the mounting screw which could be consistent with a slip on the grinding wheel after casting at the foundry.
