We thought it may be a road-going version of the Gallardo Super Trofeo and so it is, with the Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Super Trofeo Stradale leaking out on the eve of the Frankfurt show. 2012 Volvo S60 recalled for possible problem with fuel-pump software

Volvo is recalling almost 7,600 S60 sedans from the 2012 model year for a potential fuel-pump software problem with the five-cylinder engine that could lead to hesitation or a possible stall. The cars affected were built from Nov. 18, 2010, to May 5, 2011.

There were a few bare spots on the floor of the Consumer Electronics Show this year, spots that in previous years had been jammed sardine-like with myriad Taiwanese makers of Hello Kitty knockoff cell phone cozies and electronic barking dogs, but the show this year was nonetheless pretty well attended. Besides, for those working their way upstream through the aisles like so many digitally trained trout, the empty spots left by exhibitors that pulled out were like refreshing mountain meadows or little piazzas in crowded Italian cities. Show management stocked the open spots with cushy couches, too, on which many a jet-lagged showgoer snoozed.
