Good morning, today we have a 1958 CHEVROLET / GMC - TRUCK - ORIGINAL FACTORY - SHOP / SERVICE / MAINTENANCE MANUAL up for auction.

The book is in a good used condition. The manual comes from a former GM dealership, and as such has been used by the mechanics in the dealership. It may have some dust and stains, and greasy finger prints on some pages.

This approx 2000 page book was produced by GENERAL MOTORS of CANADA and is NOT the same as the US book. Canadian GM Manual books are rare, and are different from those printed in the US. They are usually better illustrated and contain more useful information. Almost all of the part numbers are the same as the US parts except for some minor trim pieces.

The book is large , and is approx 1 3/4 inches thick and has over 1500 pages. It contains all the information that a mechanic needs for the repair of these type of vehicles.

It cover the following chapters:

GENERAL INFORMATION
LUBRICATION
HEATING & VENTILATION
BUMPER
SHEET METAL
FRONT ALIGNMENT
STEERING
FRONT SUSPENSION
WHEELS & TIRES
PROPELLER SHAFT & U JOINTS
REAR AXLE
BRAKES
ENGINE MECHANICAL
ENGINE COOLING
ENGINE EMISSION CONTROLS
ENGINE EXHAUST
AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION
MANUAL TRANSMISSION
CLUTCH
BUMPERS & GRILL
CHASSIS ELECTRICAL
ACCESSORIES
Special Tools,

Even though this book is for a 1958, I am sure most information can be used for later year models as well, as there was not many changes between the years.

These books are invaluable if you are able to do your own repair work. A similar manual on a car I owned saved me over $800.00 on a repair that I could do myself, as opposed to having a dealer do the service work.

This book should pay for itself after only one use.

Unfortunately we are located in Canada and delivery may take longer than if it was mailed from a US address - Delivery is usually 7 to 10 business days.

We have several similar manuals on auction this week and will gladly combine items for the lowest shipping cost.

Shipping & Payment

Shipping for this item is only $12.95 for all areas of North America, except CANADA which is $17.95, with very secure packaging. This is the actual cost of postage from Canada to the USA since Canada Post raised their rates on Jan. 12

For payment we accept PAYPAL, .

THANK YOU FOR LOOKING

and

GOOD LUCK BIDDING

Mon, 05 Aug 2013

Audi has just revealed a new version of its popular A3 hatchback, this one aimed straight at fuel economy figures that'll put hybrids to shame. The new A3 1.6 TDI ultra uses just 3.2 liters of diesel per 100 kilometers as the Europeans like to put it, or 73.5 miles per U.S. gallon.

BMW X3 xDrive20d SE (2011) Review & Road Test

Mon, 14 Mar 2011

BMW X3 Review & Road Test If you’re going to pontificate on a subject – in this case, pen a BMW X3 Review – it’s probably best to declare any prejudices and preconceptions up-front. So before starting to deliberate on BMW’s new X3 – in this case the entry-level BMW X3 xDrive20d SE – I need to declare that firstly, unlike many who review cars for a living, I ‘get’ the whole softroader thing. And secondly, I thought the original BMW X3 was truly awful.
