This is a 394 Oldsmobile bare block . The casting number is 585786-4 and fits 1959 - 1964 various Olds model cars and is also used in Marine applications . The bores are standard size and probably should be bored . The block has been degreased, magnafluxed and completely checked over for any defects. There are no cracks, broken bolts, welding or any other types of repairs. This block has no defects or problems.

The Fisker Karma range-extender EV is being recalled over a fire risk from a faulty cooling fan. We’re not sure how many Fisker Karmas there are in the UK (well, there should be at least one), but so far it appears that there are a surprising 1,900 in the wild. Now those 1,900 (or 2,400 if you count all the Karamas built and heading for customers) are to be recalled after fire destroyed two Karmas in the US.

Although the Americans call it ‘midsize’ the current car is hardly small: at 4775mm long it’s over 200mm longer than a BMW X3 so expect the new car to be as big as the X5. However, that means the concept can offer seating for eight.
