This Engine has been in Dry Storage for well over 20/Years. She still turns over freely and has compression

She's stamped with the "G" Suffix, which is a 250/HP A/T Unit

Block Date-Code casting is for April of 1959

The heads are both #3758379. One Head is date casted D-15-59 (Correct match for 1959), while the other head has been replced and is date coded B-27-61 (1961 Head). The Intake Manifold is a 1961 Casting, dated #C-13-61

The Water Pump is Correctly date casted #D-23-59. This has the Original 1959 Rochestor Carburetor #7013006. These were well known for crackage in the Valley area and also on the upper side off the outer block. LH Front Upper

These areas are in great shape and this one has made it through the decades as a rare survivor

You'll be hard pressed to find a Core as nice as this one. Most of the 348's have been exposed to harsh elements and require major resoration processes to bring them back to life. This one even includes the Exhaust Manifolds, Rear A/T Adapter Plate, Starter and Pulleys

Japanese Grand Prix Qualifying: Webber takes pole for Red Bull It’s been a long time since Mark Webber took pole position in a Grand Prix, but luck was on the side of the seemingly perpetually unlucky Webber as a KERS problem took the edge of Vettel’s speed in Suzuka this morning. Webber ended up beating his team mate by 0.174 seconds to take his first pole of the 2013 F1 season and make this the first time he’s out qualified Vettel this year too. Behind the Red Bull pair, Lewis Hamilton took third place for Mercedes with Romain Grosjean giving Lotus a fourth place on the grid.

Changan Honor

The production version of the Changan Honor was unveiled at the Guangzhou motor show last month, six months after the concept was announced. The production version has stayed true to the concept car, with the Honor's exterior being similar to the company's most recent range, which has adopted a large front grille and rising side feature lines from Changan's MPV range. It represents the traditional MPV/minivan format, with a relatively flat waistline, generous glasshouse and two-box proportions.
