Here's the story on this. I had, for many years, a custom 59 Elcamino. I bought quite a few extra parts to have as backup, in case it ever got hit or damaged. Luckily, it never did. Now that I sold it, the new owner didn't want backup parts like I did. So I'm offering them here. These should be the strikers for you 59 Elcamino. I would think would work on station wagons too, but you decide before you buy. Screws and backing T plates are included. In big parts, I have both front fenders (inner and outer), both doors, both bumpers, both new full lower quarter skins, tailgate, front and rear glass, vent windows, and then a ton of small parts. Duesenbergs sweep honors at Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance

Two of the 29 Duesenbergs on display at the 16th Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance took the Best in Show honors on Sunday at the gathering in north Florida. The Amelia Island concours awards two top honors, one for sporting cars and one for elegance. Harry Yeaggy's 1935 Duesenberg SJ Speedster, also known as the “Mormon Meteor,” won Best in Show Concours De Sport, while Helen and Jack Nethercutt's 1933 Duesenberg SJN Arlington Torpedo Sedan was awarded Best in Show Concours De Elegance.

Kansas City car dealer admits to sending $23,500 to al-Qaida

A Kansas City used-car and auto-parts dealer admitted in federal court to sending $23,500 to terrorist group al-Qaida. Khalid Ouazzani pleaded guilty on Wednesday to terrorism-related charges in court in Missouri and admitted he sent the money to the terrorist organization through a bank in the United Arab Emirates in 2007-08. He also pleaded guilty to bank fraud and money laundering.

Rolls-Royce announces new Wraith coupe for 2013

Rolls-Royce will launch the Wraith, a new Ghost-based coupe, at the 2013 Geneva motor show in March. We’re promised it’ll be the most powerful and dynamic model in the 108-year history of Rolls-Royce.  ‘Expect the boldest design, the most dramatic performance and the most powerful Rolls-Royce that has ever played host to the famous Spirit of Ecstasy figurine,’ said Rolls boss Torsten Müller-Ötvös when he announced the Wraith at the company’s world dealer conference in London this morning.
