The 1959 Civil Air Regulatiions And Flight Standards for Pilots 21st edition dated March, 1959 is illustrated, has 160 pages Regulations and a Typical Examination For Private Pilots with  the answers. In the back of the book is the illustrated 41 page Fundamentals Of Elementary Maneuvers Civil Aeronautics Bulletin No.32 that explains all the basic maneuvers in learning to fly illustrated by a cartoon character in an airplane. There also is a full color first solo certificate.
The 1967 29th Edition Federal Aviation Regulations and Fight Standards For Pilots is an updated version of the old Civil Air Regulations. It has 161 pages coveing the updated FAR"S  and the same Fundamnetals Of Elemetary Maneuvers in black and white print and includes the same in color first solo certificate. Both items were reproduced by Aero Publishers now long gone.

Ford confirms Fiesta EcoSport SUV debut in India

Fiesta EcoSport SUV (rendered by Car & Driver Brazil) Ford has confirmed they will reveal an all-new vehicle planned for introduction in India and other global markets which we assume is the EcoSport SUV. A week or two back we reported that Ford in India has inadvertently posted some details about the upcoming Ford Ecosport, a high-riding compact SUV based on the same platform as the Fiesta. We speculated that the EcoSport would arrive at the Auto Expo 2012 in New Delhi in January, and it looks like Ford has confirmed that.

The design of the Discovery Vision concept remains under wraps until 16 April 2014, but ahead of its debut Land Rover has revealed the show car will feature its new Transparent Bonnet technology. Not quite.

The Citroën DS Wild Rubis concept is the French manufacturer's foray into the premium SUV market, to be shown at the Shanghai auto show next Saturday. At 4,700mm long it's slightly larger than a BMW X3 or Audi Q5, with a particularly generous wheelbase of 2,900mm, presumably to offer the rear passengers a little more space - major consideration in China. It was designed in the DS studio in France, something the company is keen to promote given China's desire for chic European luxury goods.
