Lexus teases new RC-F rival to BMW M4

Lexus has released the first tease of a new F-branded model – and it looks like the car in question is a hot version of last month’s new RC Coupe. The new RC-F will be officially revealed at the Detroit Motor Show next month, with the firm promising “performance synonymous with Lexus’s heritage of F-designated performance models”. Gordon Murray yesterday became Advanced Concepts Director of Caparo Vehicle Products. Murray is best known as one of the founding partners of McLaren Cars which under his technical direction won eight Constructors Championships in Formula One. Within the automotive design community he is even better known for the McLaren F1 supercar of 1994 which he conceived and developed with, amongst others, designer Peter Stevens.
