This is a 1959 Plymouth 318 stamping on the block is:MP8 199060, it has the dual 4bbl cast iron intake, casting no:1822004 with the 2903s carbs and a standard shift fly wheel and clutch. The engine was purchased at an estate sale it is SUPPOSED to be rebuilt I CANNOT VERIFY THIS! It does look
like it has been apart and regasketed at least. There is some oily-carbony residue in the heads like if it was rebuilt they just washed the heads up and put them back on. NO PUSH RODS, if they rebuilt it they were not installed it turns over freely and has clean/new oil in it. My guess is it has been done years ago and just stored away the carbs HAVE been MODIFIED, it looks like someone redid the linkages to make them work for their application the front carb has had the idle screw area trimmed off and the choke pods have been removed or modified as well ( at least it looks that way to me) comes with exhaust manifolds for both sides one one the engine one loose. THE CART DOES NOT COME WITH THE ENGINE!!!!
