Tesla Model S goes up in price
Fri, 30 Nov 2012The electric Tesla Model S – which won’t arrive in the UK until at least late in 2013 – is going up in price in the US and gets a spec change. The Tesla Model S is perhaps, just perhaps, the only really credible electric car so far; a luxury ‘Sports’ saloon car that offers range almost comparable to an ICE car and, it seems, prices that aren’t an awful lot different. Saab is sold again: two Chinese makers buy Saab
Fri, 28 Oct 2011Chinese car makers Pang Da and Youngman today agreed to buy Saab in its entirety from Swedish Automobile. It's the latest extraordinary twist in the saga of Saab, which has been technically bankrupt since September 2011 and built just 11,000 cars this year. The deal, which will see the Chinese car makers pay €100 million for Saab, has not yet however been signed and sealed.
Mitsubishi Delica D:5
Tue, 07 Nov 2006Arriving in Japan early next year is the new Mitsubishi Delica D:5, the fifth generation of a model series that began in 1968, and the third new model the company has launched this year after the eK Wagon and Pajero. Mitsubishi says the Delica was developed to 'fuse the comfort of a minivan with the powerful performance of an SUV' and uses 2.4-liter engine with four-wheel-drive. The styling of the Delica takes its cues from the Mitsubishi Concept-D:5 unveiled at the 2005 Tokyo Motor Show, with strong graphics and perched stance.
