Up for grabs we have a tailgate handle for a 59 El Camino or station wagon. The mechanism has been sand blasted and needs painted. It is in good working order. The stainless cover was removed in preparation of straightening out the dings and repolishing. Once you have that done it gets reriveted to the mechanism. No hardware or light included, sorry. New car sales accelerate again
Wed, 07 May 2014NEW CAR SALES could be back to pre-recession levels by the end of this year after a good start to 2014. Latest figures from the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) show there were 176,820 new vehicles registered in April - an 8.2% rise on the same month last year. Last month's figure took the total for the year so far to 864,942 - a 12.5% increase on the first four months of 2013.

There might be a little extra anxiety this year for Hyundai driver Rhys Millen, whose father, Rod Millen, will make his return to the 156-turn mountain course. Rod Millen held the world record at Pikes Peak for 13 years with a time of 10 minutes, 4.06 seconds.
