Thu, 29 Dec 2011The folks over at DragTimes have recorded a Bugatti Veyron 16. 4 while it ran the quarter-mile against a tuned Nissan GT-R at Palm Beach International Raceway. While the French sports car looked out of its element, it was right at home doing what it was designed for, going fast.
Toyota GT86 TRD (2013) first pictures and details
Fri, 08 Feb 2013Toyota's performance arm TRD (stop sniggering, it stands for Toyota Racing Development) has breathed on the GT86 coupe. The GT86 TRD, of which just 250 examples are UK-bound, gets a subtle bodykit, bigger wheels, a tuned exhaust and a couple of badging trinkets, but crucially, no extra power from the 2.0-litre boxer engine. A mistake, given that the price is up by £6500?

Wisdom borne of experience: If you are contemplating the purchase of a British car and the vital parts of that car are in more than, say, two cardboard boxes, your purchase is suspect. Obviously there are exceptions: The D-type Jaguar comes to mind.
