First Sight: Audi A3 Interior Revealed at CES [w/video]
Thu, 12 Jan 2012It says a lot about where the automotive industry is today that Audi chose to unveil the new A3 interior here in CES, rather than a few days earlier at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit. In the process the firm also inadvertently unveiled the exterior design of the next generation of the 3-door hatch through the high quality renderings used in the menus of the new MMI system. The new MMI system comes with an enlarged, raised center clickwheel that is topped by a touchpad.

Partly inspired by the 1970s BMW art cars of Andy Warhol and Roy Lichtenstein, French artist Bernar Venet's creation pays tribute to the eggheads responsible for the Veyron's conception, by covering the front panels in mathematical equations relating to the output of the car's enormous engine. VW releases sketch of U.S.-made sedan
Wed, 28 Oct 2009Volkswagen of America has released a sketch of its new mid-size sedan that will go on sale in the fall of 2011 as a 2012 model-year car. The factory currently being built by VW in Chattanooga, Tenn., will start producing cars in the spring of 2011. Sales of the mid-size sedan will be at least 100,000 units annually at full capacity.
