Original FACTORY
CHASSIS SHOP SERVICE MANUAL
Supplement
Good morning, today we have a 1960 / 1961 / 1962 - CHEVROLET / GMC - TRUCK - ORIGINAL FACTORY - CHASSIS SHOP / SERVICE MANUAL up for auction.
This supplement was prepared for use with the 1960 Truck Shop manual and covers service information peculiar to the 1959 model truck
The book is in a good used condition. The manual comes from a former GM dealership, and as such has been used by the mechanics in the dealership. It may have some dust and stains, and greasy finger prints on some pages.
This approx 200 page book was produced by GENERAL MOTORS of CANADA and is NOT the same as the US book. Canadian GM Manual books are rare, and are different from those printed in the US. They are usually better illustrated and contain more useful information. Almost all of the part numbers are the same as the US parts except for some minor trim pieces.
The book is large , and is approx 3/8 inch thick and has over 200 pages. It contains all the information that a mechanic needs for the repair of these type of vehicles.
It cover the following chapters:
GENERAL INFORMATION LUBRICATION HEATING & VENTILATION BUMPER SHEET METAL FRONT ALIGNMENT STEERING FRONT SUSPENSION WHEELS & TIRES PROPELLER SHAFT & U JOINTS REAR AXLE BRAKES ENGINE MECHANICAL ENGINE COOLING ENGINE EMISSION CONTROLS ENGINE EXHAUST AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION MANUAL TRANSMISSION CLUTCH BUMPERS & GRILL CHASSIS ELECTRICAL ACCESSORIES Special Tools,
Even though this book is for a 1960, I am sure most information can be used for later year models as well, as there was not many changes between the years.
These books are invaluable if you are able to do your own repair work. A similar manual on a car I owned saved me over $800.00 on a repair that I could do myself, as opposed to having a dealer do the service work.
This book should pay for itself after only one use.
Unfortunately we are located in Canada and delivery may take longer than if it was mailed from a US address - Delivery is usually 7 to 10 business days.
We have several similar manuals on auction this week and will gladly combine items for the lowest shipping cost.
Shipping & Payment
Shipping for this item is only $6.35 for all areas of North America, except CANADA which is $12.95, with very secure packaging. This is the actual cost of postage from Canada to the USA since Canada Post raised their rates on Jan. 12
For payment we accept PAYPAL, .
THANK YOU FOR LOOKING
and
GOOD LUCK BIDDING

The interior of the Jaguar XKR
So the Jaguar XKR with Black Pack and Speed Pack gets to look a lot more aggressive and goes faster. But actually, it only goes faster because the limiter has been changed. All the other numbers are exactly the same, so all you’re getting is the bragging rights that your XKR can do 174mph instead of 155mph.

The new Jaguar XJ - we look in detail at what's on offer
The Launch
Despite our moans about some of the teases that went on in the run-up to the launch of the XJ, we can’t dispute that they worked for Jaguar. The interest was pretty much unprecedented, and one or two big car web sites crashed during the day of the launch because of huge numbers of visitors looking for information on the new XJ. We didn’t crash (thankfully) but our traffic doubled on the day, and thousands of you watched the launch live on Cars UK.
