Up for your consideration is a Set of Original FORD Interior Chrome Door Handles (2) and Window Cranks (2), which were just removed from a 1962 Ford Galaxie 500 2-Door HardTop. They will also fit 1960, 1961 and 1962 Full size Ford cars and, probably other applications, as well.  These handles and cranks are in outstanding condition with only minor surface scratches and imperfections, and the Black Bakelite handles on the window cranks are perfect. There is a pinpoint "flea bite" on the bottom edge of the base of one window crank (see last picture).  Otherwise, these handles and cranks are sparkling clean with beautiful luster to the chrome, and are in unusually nice condition for being over 50 years old !  Please note, the chrome reflects everything, so dark areas on the pictures are from room or outdoor reflections. Basically, these beautiful handles and window cranks are ready to install. NOTE: I have listed a matching set of Handles and Window Cranks, in case you need two sets for a 4-Door. Payment is expected within 48 hours of the end of the auction via Paypal.  We package carefully and ship quickly; USPS Tracking is part of our mailing process. Also, we will send you positive Feedback immediately on receiving yours. Thank you for your interest !

Nissan cuts the price of the Micra to £7,995

Thu, 11 Oct 2012

The Nissan Micra is getting a price cut in the UK, with the entry-level Micra dropping to just £7,995 and price cuts across the Micra range. That means the entry-level Micra 1.2 12v Visia comes down form a not exactly bargain basement £9,750 to a much more appealing £7,995. And Nissan hasn’t done it by cutting equipment levels, as they say every model still gets the same level of equipment, including Bluetooth.

Sun, 23 Oct 2011

Rolls Royce showrooms planned in South America The paradox of the current economic malaise  is that luxury goods – and luxury cars in particular - seem immune from the problems of the mainstream. Rolls Royce – to many still the epitome of luxury motoring – is doing very well, and is now planning an expansion in to South America. The cynical may say that Rolls Royce want a piece of the drug money floating round South America in their coffers, but South America is far more than a bunch of drug barons freely spending illicit cash.

The Mitsubishi Evo is dead

Mon, 31 Mar 2014

As Mitsubishi shifts its global lineup toward utility vehicles and electrified cars, it will pull the plug on the Lancer Evolution at the end of the nameplate's current generation. “Mitsubishi Motors does not have any plans to design a successor with the current concept, as a high-performance four-wheel drive gasoline-powered sedan,” spokeswoman Namie Koketsu said, describing the car as having “icon” status. “Mitsubishi Motors will explore the possibilities of high-performance models that incorporate electric vehicle technology.” Dropping the Evo was foreshadowed last fall when President Osamu Masuko unveiled a new mid-term business plan that would deprioritize in-house sedans and explore sourcing them through joint projects with the Renault-Nissan Alliance.
