1960 61 62 63 64 Ford Mercury 292 Valve Rocker Arm C0AE-6565-D (2)

This listing is for a package two (2) NOS valve push rods for the 1960 through 1964 292 cid engine. Part number C0AE-6565-D. Some light cosmetic oxidation. These are ball and cup type, measuring approximately 8 3/16" overall length. Use as required. Push rods you will receive will be similar to the ones pictured. Picture shown is representative of the push rods themselves, not the packaging. They may come in a box, in a package, wrapped up with tape or without packaging of any sort. Regardless, the push rods will be the correct part number and application as listed. These have been sitting for DECADES and as such, have been shelved, packaged, unpacked, and re-packaged by various dealers during inventory control. Go ORIGINAL Ford!! If you need a replacement or an extra, here it is.

I am currently listing many small, hard to find, NOS Ford, Lincoln, and Mercury parts. I do not have EVERY parts book Ford put out, but I do have most and will make every attempt to accurately describe the item, it's application(s), and the years it was in service.

All my listings are for NOS items unless otherwise specified in the item description. Please keep in mind that while these are NOS parts manufactured by or for Ford, there may be something that is unforeseen in quality or present due to storage, such as discoloration, shelf and box rubs, light scuffing, residues, etc. Most of these parts have been sitting on a dealership shelf and are between 20 and 50 years old. I don't sell junk, broken, or obviously unusable parts. Those are for the trash. If a part is missing, or needs some attention due to chrome spotting, shelf grime, or surface rust, I will note it. These items are often one of a kind and obsolete from Ford. As such, all items are sold as is. Also, it's hard for me to visualize where on a car or truck each and every part may go since I list thousands of different parts from 1932 grill trim to the seat back bushings on a 1992 F-250. The buyer will have to rely on either shop experience, knowledge of their car or truck, and a visual comparison with the photo(s) in conjunction with what I have described, to make a determination as to exact fit or application as it pertains to their vehicle.

Please e-mail me if you have any questions. I am always glad to provide more photos if you feel they will help you make a good decision. I will have other NOS and used items up for sale periodically so bookmark my Seller's page and check back every few days. I also have a Store with hundreds of items you may find of use.

Thanks for looking and good luck!!

Porsche says 1952 356 Cabriolet is oldest one sold in the U.S.

Thu, 21 Oct 2010

A 1952 Porsche 356 cabriolet owned by Robert Wilson of Oklahoma City, Okla., has been named the winner of a contest to find the oldest Porsche sold in America. Porsche Cars North America ran the contest, which asked owners to submit documentation showing when their cars were first sold, as part of its celebration of 60 years of selling cars in the United States. Wilson's car, which he found in a salvage yard, was imported in November 1952 by Max Hoffman, who started bringing Porsches to the United States in 1950.

What the Future Holds, Nobody Knows

Tue, 22 Dec 2009

It's a testament to the talent, charisma and relative celebrity of Ian Callum, Derek Jenkins and Franz von Holzhausen - heads of Jaguar, Mazda and Tesla design, respectively - that they managed to captivate a crowd of industry insiders at the tail end of the Los Angeles Auto Show's second press-preview day. This despite being given a nebulous topic to discuss with a moderator who knew little about the subject. Dan Lyons, a technology columnist at Newsweek, oversaw the panel discussion that was to focus on "Tomorrow's Cars...Practical Transportation or Groundbreaking Design?" He asked only one question on that topic before digressing into a more general discourse on the design strategies of Jaguar, Mazda and Tesla.
