HARD TO FIND Original V8 truck motor mount originally installed in 1960-62 trucks. The motor mount and rubber bushing appears to have been painted black at some point, but overall in very good condition. The motor mount has two sets of holes for attaching to front of engine which can be seen in the 6th photo which shows mount attached to Small Block Chevy. I believe the other set of holes fit 348/409 engines and measure 9 7/8" center to center; but check measurements for your application; does NOT fit later 396/427/454 Big Block.

New CAFE proposal would add $5,000 to sticker price, dealer group says

Wed, 18 Jan 2012

An Obama administration proposal to nearly double today's fuel economy standards could end up tacking on $5,000 to the sticker price of a new vehicle, a top official with the National Automobile Dealers Association said Tuesday. The proposal, which seeks to raise the corporate average fuel economy to 54.5 mpg by the 2025 model year, would force automakers to adopt costly fuel-saving technologies that could eventually price some buyers out of the new-car market, said Don Chalmers, chairman of NADA's government relations committee. NADA, a dealer trade association, represents 16,000 new-vehicle dealers who operate 32,500 franchises.

Sun, 03 Jul 2011

Marc Gene takes the 2010 Ferrari F1 (F10) up the Goodwood Hillclimb 2011 Goodwood is Disneyland for petrolheads, with the world’s greatest cars and greatest drivers wallowing in three days of high-octane worship at the alter of the internal combustion engine. Everything from classic road cars to the latest F1 machinery crowd in to thisĀ gloriousĀ corner of England, safe in the knowledge that they are among friends; no global-warmists here wagging a condemnatory finger. We’ll have a full round-up of the Goodwood Festival of Speed tomorrow – with a million photos – but as Ferrari has sent us video of Marc Gene taking last year’s Ferrai F1 (F10) car up the Goodwood hillclimb we thought it deserved some space all its own.
