This is the engine and head from a 1960 Austin Healey 3000. The motor was built in 2003 to go into a project car that was never finished, it has been sitting since 2003 with the cylinders oiled, still turns over nicely. This motor has been machined and fitted with performance components, pistons are +30 (SEE RECIEPTS FOR COST AND DETAILS OF THE MACHINING AND MODIFICATIONS). Missing lifters, rocker arms, and rocker shaft. This auction is for local pick up only, freight can be arranged at the purchasers expense (engine weights about 500 - 600 lbs.). DEPOSIT REQUIRED. 

GT supercar designer leaving Ford

Designer Camilo Pardo, credited with drawing the Ford GT supercar, is leaving the automaker after a 24-year career with the company. Pardo, 45, confirmed to AutoWeek that he is leaving Ford, but he declined to give details. He said final details of his departure have yet to be worked out.

Toyota Prius slashes price to match Honda Insight

Toyota Motor Corp. is going for the jugular with its redesigned Prius, setting a 2.05 million yen starting price ($20,750) in Japan that is on par with the newly released Honda Insight. Toyota notified Japanese dealers of the cutthroat pricing policy for its redesigned 1.8-liter gasoline-electric hybrid on March 25, dealers in Japan say.
