The 4 60 indicates a generator from April 1960. DA 41 I'm not sure about, and even my Lucas 400E Master Catalogue does not tell me about that part of the code, except that it is a "type" of generator as opposed to a model (which is the C39PV/2*). In this video, filmed at the awards ceremony that took place at the North American International Auto Show, judges explain the competition structure and the benefits that both GM and the students get from the experience. '400,000 children in smoky cars'

HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of children travel in smoke-filled cars every week, a charity has warned. The British Lung Foundation (BLF) estimates that in England more than 430,000 children aged 11 to 15 are exposed to second hand smoke in cars each week. The charity, which conducted analysis on official NHS data, said that 185,000 children of the same age are exposed to smoke while in the family car on "most days", if not every day.
