1960 BUICK HUBCAPS SIMILAR TO 56 CHEVROLET

THESE  CAPS ARE GETTING HARDER TO FIND AND REALLY COOL TO DISPLAY IN THE TRUNK IF YOU ARE RUNNING CUSTOM WHEELS.  I BELIEVE THESE TO BE 1960 BUICK.  MANY PEOPLE USED THESE AS CUSTOM CAPS BACK IN THE DAY ON 50s CHEVYS AND SO ON.  PLEASE USE THE ZOOM FEATURE AND READ ALL OF THE DESCRIPTION BEFORE BIDDING.  ONLY BID IF YOU ARE SURE THEY ARE WHAT YOU WANT AND NEED.

ON TO THE DESCRIPTION.  THESE ARE UNRESTORED CAPS THAT SUFFER FROM TYPICAL WEAR.  THEY BOTH HAVE LITTLE DINGS & SCRATCHES. MORESO ALONG THE EDGE.  ONE CAP IS SLIGHTLY NICER THAN THE OTHER HAVING LESS LITTLE DINGS & SCRATCHES. OBVIOUSLY THERE IS PAINT WEAR AS WELL.  ALL SAID THOUGH, THEY ARE PRETTY DARN GOOD CAPS AND GETTING VERY DIFFICULT TO FIND.

THEY ARE NOT PERFECT FRIENDS, NONE OF THESE OLD CAPS ARE.  HOWEVER THEY ARE UNRESTORED EXAMPLES THAT WOULD SERVE MANY OWNERS WELL.  VERY REASONABLY PRICED.

COOL EXAMPLE FROM A DAY GONE BY.  ON A SCALE OF 1-5 WITH 5 AS THE HIGH, BASED ON AGE, RARITY & CONDITION I RATE ONE A 3 + AND ONE A 3.

ONE OTHER COMMENT, WE SPENT A SEVERAL WEEKENDS AT SOME OF THE LARGEST SWAP MEETS IN THE MIDWEST OVER THE LAST FEW YEARS.  HUNDREDS OF VENDORS, THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE AND NONE OF THESE.  TAKE A CLOSE LOOK AT THEM.  WE ALSO ATTEND BARRETT JACKSON AND MECUM AUCTIONS REGULARLY. THE POINT IS THIS.  ONLY THE FINEST AND ULTRA EXPENSIVE CARS SEEM TO HAVE PERFECT TRIM.

I try to be honest about what I sell.  Almost all of these old hubcaps have imperfections.  Unless you are willing to spend hundreds for a set the best you can do are look for those in decent shape which these are.

WE SHIP ALL OVER THE WORLD!

WE COMBINE SHIPPING AND HANDLING ON MULTIPLE ITEMS TOO.

These old car parts are becoming more and more scarce.  After 10 years of selling over a 7000 items we've come to this conclusion.   If we can't sell the parts for a reasonable price, we're going to warehouse them. This is especially true of the nice parts and more unusual parts.  All they can do is go up in value.  Our point is this.  We've got the space and the means to collect and store what we sell.  Having said that don't be surprised if we run an item only once or twice and if it doesn't sell it doesn't show back up.  Please don't misunderstand us.  We want and do appreciate your business.  It just doesn't make sense to us to spend time and money relisting items over and over when almost all of these parts have only one way to go in the future.  UP.

PLEASE NOTE:  DUE TO SEVERAL NON-PAYERS WE HAVE ADDED THE FOLLOWING STATEMENT MEANT FOR THOSE TYPE OF BIDDERS.  WHILE THE VAST MAJORITY OF BUYERS PAY FOR WHAT THEY BID ON, WE HAVE RECENTLY SEEN A SIGNIFICANT INCREASE IN UNPAID ITEMS.  SO>>>IF YOU PLAN ON BIDDING PLEASE PLAN ON PAYING.   THANKS.  HAPPY BIDDING.

Teen driving: Can computers teach us to drive?

Thu, 03 Sep 2009

Can technology help us do a better job of training novice drivers? Note the term "novice," which is coming to replace "teen" as the focus of national concern about inexperienced drivers. This stems in part from graduated driver licensing (GDL) laws that have pushed up the age of new drivers and is partially a reflection of recent studies showing that it's not just newly licensed drivers, but all inexperienced drivers younger than 25 who are at higher risk of death or injury in car crashes.

Ford Fiesta Zetec S Red and Black Edition revealed – price from £15,995

Wed, 18 Jun 2014

The Fiesta Black and Red Editions arrive with a 138bhp 1.0 litre EcoBoost Everyone loves a sporty Fiesta – still a cracking little car in any guise – but it looks like Ford has spotted a gap in the market between the Zetec S with the 1.0 litre EcoBoost and the Fiesta ST. So we get the Ford Fiesta Zetec S Red and Black Editions to fill the gap we didn’t actually know was there. Ford has managed to squeeze even more power from their little 1.0 litre, 3-cylinder EcoBoost engine to give the Fiesta Red and Black Editions 138bhp, enough to crack 62mph in just 9.0 seconds.
