Hanover, Ontario, Canada
Condition:Used

You are bidding on an assortment of used, original 1960 Cadillac four door Sedan wiring harnesses. I got the lot in a box & trying to sort them out was challenging.

The first 4 pics focus on the power window wiring harnesses which may also  include the power vent harnesses as well.  With regard to the latter, please look at the pics closely & you decide since I can not guarantee this.

All of the plug-ins/switch blocks appear to be in good condition.

Pics 3 & 4  are of the main/primary harness which includes the fuse box.

Pics (5,6,7) are miscellaneous harnesses that could possibly include the autronic eye, air conditioning, power trunk, AM/FM radio, power antennae, etc.

The last two pics, (Pics 8 & 9) are what I believe to be the Ignition harness.

Each one of the harnesses is in satisfactory condition considering their age.

For new CAFE rules, automakers place high-stakes tech bets

Tue, 23 Mar 2010

Game-changing 2015 fuel economy rules are forcing vehicle development teams to make high-stakes bets on expensive technologies--bets that will separate the winners from the also-rans. Not only do federal rules target a 2015 fleet average of 35.5 mpg, up from the current 27.5 mpg for cars and 23.1 mpg for light trucks; they force automakers to bet on different technology packages for each vehicle segment. Companies that do best at mixing technologies while keeping down costs will have an advantage when buyers wince at higher stickers.
