Up for auction is a 1960 Chevrolet Bel Air Biscayne El Camino Brookwood Kingswood Nomad Parkwood Hardtop Sedan Station Wagon 'Chevrolet' dash script. This is an original piece which has been straightened, sanded, buffed to a mirror finish, and anodized back to factory finish.  The black has been repainted.  Fits all except 1960 Impala.  Will also fit 1959 models, but does not have the correct design.  As good as NOS was in the 60's -- better than most NOS pieces you will find today.

A NEW study from car hire Europcar has revealed that, while a practical, versatile estate car might be just the ticket for a busy life, it’s not the car of choice to create a lasting impression on a first date. According to the firm’s survey, just one percent of respondents said they would choose an estate car when hiring for a special day, with women put off by the practicality of estates. Unsurprisingly, prestige vehicles topped the list for the car to make the best impression at 32%.

Three-time Le Mans 24 Hours race champion Allan McNish has told us that technology first trialled at the world famous endurance event often makes it on to road cars – and this year’s big thing will be laser lights. Speaking ahead of Le Mans 2014, McNish said that racing is more relevant to everyday cars than people think – with features from seat belts to windscreen wipers debuting at the race. New Kia Sorento at Frankfurt

The new Kia Sorento will get its debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show The new Kia Sorento – a seven seat SUV – is longer, lower and more aerodynamic than the current model. Its length has increased by 18mm and its drag coefficient drops to 0.38 – down from 0.43 – which will help with economy. And Kia says that the new Sorento has been set up to be more road-biased, without losing any of the Sorento’s off-road ability.
