Bentley at the Geneva Motor Show – it’s not just cars

Mon, 22 Feb 2010

The Bentley Breitling Watch - on sale at the Bentley Boutique at the Geneva Motor Show It looks like Bentley are taking the whole ‘Merchandise’ thing as seriously as Ferrari do. Perhaps they decided last year – when Bentley were selling next to no cars – that shoving the Bentley logo on a range of upmarket toys was a way to bring in some much needed revenue. Brazilian students develop soapbox racers for Volkswagen

Wed, 18 Dec 2013

Brazilian design students have competed for year-long internships at Volkswagen's Brazilian design studio by designing – and racing – soapbox cars. About the size of a DS4, the DS Divine is driving the DS brand in a different direction to Citroen, and the lack of any Citroen badging demonstrates Citroen’s intent to set the DS models apart from the regular Citroen models as a standalone brand around the world, much as they already do in China. With a big diamond pattern grill up front and its low, squat stance, the DS Divine looks convincing, even if the oversize alloys and some of the detailing are typically ‘concept’, particularly the windowless back end.
