1960 Chevy 235 engine that I just bought for resale and according to the previous owner I has only been ran for 500 miles after being rebuilt at a professional engine shop.

When he bought the car it was in , he pulled it in favor of a modern V8 and he kept it stored inside his heated garage since then.

The reciept shows the engine to have been a complete rebuild in the year 2001.

He said the powerglide transmission was rebuilt at that time as well but I do  not have paperwork to prove that.

We did pull the valve cover and were happy to find it does indeed look new inside that area.

Then we did a cylinder compression test and found each one at a perfect 150 psi.

After that we fired it up and ran it for a few seconds.

Other than a little carb stumble it ran perfect and with no smoke or problems.

I am sure the leather on the carburetor accelerator pump is dry and those rebuild kits are only around $20 or less.

We have drained the fluids and placed it on a strong pallet and have it ready to ship to you.

The block casting number is 3769716.

The date code above the starter is 1960.

It does have the very popular 848 head on it.

If you have a worn out 216 or 235 engine, this would be the ideal engine for you to purchase.

I can ship by truck freight to a business address (lower 48 states) with a forklift or to the nearest truck terminal where you can pick it up.

Shipping normally runs from $225-400 depending on where you live with median price around $300.

Like all my engines this one sells as is with no warranties implied.

You are welcome to come and inspect it in person or I can ship to lower 48 states.

I can text you a video of it running.

PLEASE call or text for video or more info  before you use the buy it now feature.

Mercedes-Benz Concept Coupe SUV previews the MLC

Sun, 20 Apr 2014

What you’re looking at here is - in concept form at least - the all-new Mercedes-Benz MLC SUV. Yes, it’s called the Concept Coupe SUV, but with the coupe version of the Mercedes-Benz ML arriving as soon as 2015, it provides a pretty big hint of the shape of things to come. And when we say big, we mean big.

For those of you daydreaming of used Toyota RAV4 ownership, autos.ca has your guide to the little SUVs of the RAV 4's golden age, 2006-2012. Though Yeezy famously dissed the “Recreational Active Vehicle with 4-wheel drive” or RAV4, people seem to like them. Automobile Magazine named it “Automobile of the Year” in 1997.
