On the left side under the Die-cast Collectible Car and his autograph, this is whats written "Sir Jack Brabham won the 1960 Grand Prix of Great Britain in his Formula One Cooper T53. The number "1" signifies that Brabham was the World Championship in 1959. He won again in 1960 and for the third time in 1966, while driving a Brabham BT19, a car Sir Jack personally constructed, an achievement never equaled before or since. Fri, 20 May 2011TRW Automotive Holding Corp. has developed a roof-mounted airbag that is designed to allow automakers create more space for interior styling compared with typical instrument panel airbags. The “bag in roof” airbag system deploys one airbag from the roof, protecting both driver and passenger, thus eliminating the need for a passenger-side airbag (usually found in the instrument panel).

Fri, 27 Jul 2012General Motors has green-lighted the development of a large flagship sedan for Cadillac, sources say, part of its plan to position its luxury brand's lineup to take on the German luxury stalwarts in every key sedan segment. The flagship sedan is to be built on a new rear-wheel-drive platform and arrive by 2015. The long-rumored rwd flagship would challenge the BMW 7-series and Mercedes-Benz S-class and is a key to GM's ambitions to expand Cadillac in China.
College Exhibition: Pforzheim University Summer Show 2009
Fri, 07 Aug 2009Germany's Pforzheim University recently held its summer degree show at the city's Congress Center for students in the school's Transportation Design program. The exhibition included work from nine graduating Masters' students and 13 Diploma students, as well as a Mercedes-Benz-sponsored project by MA students, a Renault-sponsored project by undergraduates in their 4th and 6th semesters and three Volkswagen-sponsored projects. Projects from the graduating MA students included: Porsche P'5200 Stephan Everwin Named after Porsche's product matrix - 5000 being the category for sport and 200 representing water - the Porsche Design sailing yacht considers the holistic sailing experience rather than just the product itself, "It's not about speed, but the experience," Everwin told CDN.
