(Former) Honda F1 Team ready to roll for 2009
Fri, 27 Feb 2009Blimey, there’s been some real speculation over the fate of the Honda F1 team since Honda revealed it had decided, for financial reasons, to withdraw from F1 with immediate effect. We’ve had Prodrive/Aston Martin boss David Richards firmly in the frame, followed closely by a Mexican billionaire called Slim with a Senna in his pocket! Ford Focus ST: Get yer trousers on – you’re nicked!
Wed, 23 Nov 2011Ford Focus ST - filming in The Sweeney We had the arrival of the production version of the Ford Focus ST at the Frankfurt show in September, and it is due to arrive in 2012 – as is a film version of the iconic 1970s TV show about the Met’s Flying Squad – The Sweeney. The Sweeney – for those not old enough to remember – was a 1970s police TV drama starring the late John Thaw and Dennis Waterman as Reagan and Carter – real-life Life on Mars cops; hard-drinking, chain smoking and with a complete disregard for the rules. The Sweeney featured Ford cars front and centre, with DI Reagan driven around in a Ford Consul GT and sidekick Carter foisted in to a Cortina when Reagan sent him off on his own.
BMW teases 2 Series Coupé with new video [w/Video]
Mon, 21 Oct 2013BMW's 2 Series Coupé has been previewed in a video ahead of its reveal later this month. The teaser video – produced in the dramatic style favored by most carmakers – outlines the 2 Series' silhouette and from what we can see it's much sleeker and rounder than its predecessor while generally retaining the same proportions. Although the car – which is the second generation of the 1 Series Coupé – is debuting on 25 October, we won't see it on show stands until next January's North American International Auto Show.
