Item offered is a North Carolina license plate in excellent repainted condition as shown. This plate was literally covered with rust. It was sandblasted, primed and painted leaving the rough textured background surface for what I call a "rat rod" look. No worries about the rust coming back as all of it was removed in blasting the plate. The ideal vehicle for this plate would be that original driver car or a vehicle made to look distressed with primer, etc. Also included in this deal is a plastic bag to protect the plate while it is not used on your car, a copy of the NC Year of Manufacture law and information on how to lower your property tax on your classic car. This plate is legal to use on your vehicle for Year Of Manufacture use as long as a current license plate is kept inside the vehicle. This plate meets ebay requirements of being dated a minimum of 3 years from the date of listing and is being sold for display purposes only. Volkswagen updates Scirocco
Sat, 15 Feb 2014Volkswagen has revealed an upgraded Scirocco, which will make its world premiere at the Geneva motor show in early March. Among the changes to Wolfsburg’s 6-year-old coupe are some subtle exterior changes, higher quality interior, and new four-cylinder engines, including a 276-hp version of Volkswagen’s EA888 turbocharged 2.0-liter in the new top-of-the-range Scirocco R. Other engines include a 1.4-liter, 123-hp four and a 2.0-liter producing 177 hp, 217 hp or 276 hp.
