Here's a set of dog dish  hub caps that were on a 1960 Oldsmobile 88. There are some dings and scratches  but other than that this is a decent daily driver set. This would be a decent replacement set for anyone that has one of these great cars. These would also make a presentable upgrade set if your Oldsmobile's hub caps are in rough shape or missing.

Thank you for your interest in these great hub caps. Look closely at the photos to determine if you really want these because all sales are final. I can provide specific photos via e-mail by request. I accept PayPal only and will ship as soon as funds are transferred.

Look for more hard to find 1950's, 1960's, 1970's and 1980's hub caps in my EBAY Store. Most of my hub caps are used. Even if they are low mileage caps please keep in mind that they are 30 to 60 year old used hub caps. I recondition and detail all my hub caps before you receive them.

Tesla Model S first EV to earn high praise from Consumer Reports

Thu, 09 May 2013

Tesla Motors Inc.'s all-electric Model S sports car received the highest score in Consumer Reports' ratings -- a 99 out of 100 -- along with widespread plaudits from the magazine's automotive testing staff. The magazine said the $89,650 EV it tested "performed better, or just as well overall, as any other vehicle -- of any kind -- ever tested by Consumer Reports." The last vehicle to achieve a score of 99 in the magazine's testing was the Lexus LS 460L, which was tested in 2007. The Model S, which went on sale in 2012, also marks the first time any electric vehicle has earned a score that high, the magazine said Thursday.

Volkswagen Iroc concept

Mon, 28 Aug 2006

The Iroc is a show car preview of a production coupe to be launched next year that will fill a gap in the Volkswagen model line up left by the demise of the Corrado 11 years ago. Volkswagen describe the Iroc as "transferring the globally successful Scirocco idea into the future" - the Scirocco Mk1 by Giugiaro being produced from 1974-1982, the Mk2 from 1982-1992. Like the Scirocco, the Iroc is a front wheel drive coupe with four seats - as opposed to the 2+2 seating arrangement of the only other sports coupe from Volkswagen Group: the Audi TT.

Rally star and DC Shoes purveyor Ken Block has delivered another piece of wild driving with his latest Gymkhana video--this time carving up the high-banked track at France's Linas at l'Autodrome. If you can dream it, Block can do it--180-degree and 360-degree turns and figure eights in a custom-built, all-wheel-drive Ford Fiesta. There's even a shower of sparks at the end.
