You are bidding a pair of  new 1960's Mercury Cougar emblems hand made in Solid Brass made by Anacortes Brass Works.   In early 1990's we belonged the our local Cougar Club.  In 1992  the  Club had these emblems made for the car show trophies.  There were a few extra "running cats" not used on a trophy so club members could purchase which is how you have the opportunity to own one now.  These were made by creating a mold from an actual Cougar car emblem!   The back of the is stamped with the artist's; Anacortes Brass Works information.   Photo #3 is the current Company stamp.   The 1992 stamp also includes includes: Anacortes, Wash 98271.  Each Cougar is approximately 3 5/8 inches long x 1 1/4 high and weighs 1.2 oz..   These cougars are new as we received them.   They have never been applied to a trophy or plaque.  If you examine them really really close you will see a few very very faint marks.  This is consistent with a brass object over twenty years old.  Some of the marks are from the manufacturing process.

These would also make a great paperweight!

I try to describe each item to the best of my ability Please ask questions by clicking on the 'ask a question' link towards the bottom of the auction page.

Note: Photos are of actual items for sale not stock photos.  The 'watermark' is on the photo not the item.

Flat Rate shipping in Small Priority Flat Rate box, which includes tracking number.   The box will be insured.  Since these are Solid Brass they are heavy plus packaging it is less expensive to ship in a Flat Rate box than to send via Standard (Parcel) mail.

I will combine shipping on multiple auctions ending within 3 days when feasible,  just let me know you are bidding on multiple auctions.   I love to use Flat rate postal boxes to save us both a little money!  Will ship within 1 business days (Mon-Fri) after payment is received and cleared.

PayPal only and payment due within 5 days.

I work very hard to maintain my 100% positive feedback rating. Please contact me first before leaving anything but perfect feedback.

Thanks for looking and good luck bidding!

VW Golf GTI Excessive (2010): the maximum GTI

Sun, 16 May 2010

By Tim Pollard First Official Pictures 16 May 2010 07:07 The Volkswagen Group has fallen in love with the Austrian hot hatchfest that is Wörthersee. Barely a year goes by when an outrageous Audi or VW isn't being wheeled out to Europe's GTi fans – and 2010 is no different. The new VW Golf GTI Excessive is not as extreme as its name suggests, but rather it's a gently tweaked-up version of one of the most rounded hot hatches on sale today.
