This is a vintage Motorola capacitor .5uF at 100 VDC part number 8A4491. I searched and found a possible application for 1960 VW? Unable to confirm this so make sure this is the part you need. Does not appear to have ever been installed. Some surface tarnish from storage. Tested at .6uF on my capacitance meter so it is good and confirmed it is not shorted or open. Meter and ruler shown in the photo not included.

It’s also allowed Porsche to take the Audi Q5 and turn it in to what appears to be a hugely capable and appealing baby Cayenne in the guise of the new Porsche Macan, but it seems Porsche is planning another SUV step with a model that really does seem a step too far – a Porsche 911 SUV. Auto Bild’s Motor Revue is reporting that a Porsche 911 Safarai is heading for the Beijing Motor Show in April 2014 sporting bigger wheels and tyres and a raised suspension to deliver a 911 Crossover.

New Infiniti G Series to debut at 2013 Detroit Auto Show
Sun, 21 Oct 2012The new 2013 / 2014 Infiniti G Series will debut at the Detroit Motor Show in January before going on sale later in 2013. Infiniti may not have managed to make the biggest mark on the car landscape in the UK, but the news of a new G-Series is interesting because it seems likely it will offer a more interesting design and more Europe-focused powertrains. The current Infini G37 comes as a 3.7 litre V6 and nothing else, which doesn’t exactly help sales in Europe where economy and CO2 levels are a bigger driver of sales than they are in Infiniti’s main market, the USA.
