CHROME REVERSE HUBCAPS

THESE  CAPS ARE GETTING EXTREMELY HARD TO FIND AND REALLY COOL TO DISPLAY IF YOU ARE RUNNING CUSTOM WHEELS.  TWO CAPS ARE INCLUDED.  THESE ARE OLD SCHOOL 14" CHROME REVERSE CAPS LIKE THOSE USED ON MID 60s COMETS, AND OTHER HOTRODS, TRAILERS ETC. FROM BACK IN THE DAY.

ON TO THE DESCRIPTION.  WE TRY TO BE AS HONEST AND COMPLETE IN OUR DESCRIPTIONS AS WE CAN.   THESE ARE UNRESTORED CAPS IN FAIR CONDITION SHOWING THE PATINA THAT ONLY MOTHER NATURE AND FATHER TIME PROVIDE.  THEY ARE NOT SHOW CAPS IN ANY WAY SHAPE OR FORM. THESE CAPS HAVE CHROME LOSS, SURFACE RUST, NUMEROUS DINGS & SCRATCHES, PITTING IN THE CENTERS AND HAVE HAD SILVER PAINT APPLLIED TO THE BACK SIDE AND AROUND THE SLOTTED OPENINGS.  I SUPPOSE THIS WAS IN AN EFFORT TO KEEP THEM FROM FURTHER DETERIORATION????     HARD CAPS TO FIND AND VERY REASONABLY PRICED.  COOL WALL ART TOO.  14 INCH

COOL EXAMPLES FROM A DAY GONE BY.  ON A SCALE OF 1-5 WITH 5 AS THE HIGH, BASED ON AGE, RARITY & CONDITION I RATE  THESE CAPS A 3  MINUS, OVERALL.  PLEASE LOOK AT THE PICTURES CLOSELY TO MAKE SURE THEY ARE WHAT YOU WANT AND NEED BEFORE BIDDING.  THANKS!

ONE OTHER COMMENT, WE SPENT A SEVERAL WEEKENDS AT SOME OF THE LARGEST SWAP MEETS IN THE MIDWEST OVER THE LAST FEW YEARS.  HUNDREDS OF VENDORS, THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE AND NONE OF THESE.  TAKE A CLOSE LOOK AT THEM.  WE ALSO ATTEND BARRETT JACKSON AND MECUM AUCTIONS REGULARLY. THE POINT IS THIS.  ONLY THE FINEST AND ULTRA EXPENSIVE CARS SEEM TO HAVE PERFECT TRIM.

I try to be honest about what I sell.  Almost all of these old hubcaps have imperfections.  Unless you are willing to spend hundreds for a set the best you can do are look for those in decent shape which these are.

WE SHIP ALL OVER THE WORLD AND COMBINE SHIPPING!

These old car parts are becoming more and more scarce.  After 9 years of selling over a 7000 items we've come to this conclusion.   If we can't sell the parts for a reasonable price, we're going to warehouse them. This is especially true of the nice parts and more unusual parts.  All they can do is go up in value.  Our point is this.  We've got the space and the means to collect and store what we sell.  Having said that don't be surprised if we run an item only once or twice and if it doesn't sell it doesn't show back up.  Please don't misunderstand us.  We want and do appreciate your business.  It just doesn't make sense to us to spend time and money relisting items over and over when almost all of these parts have only one way to go in the future.  UP.

PLEASE NOTE:  DUE TO SEVERAL NON-PAYERS WE HAVE ADDED THE FOLLOWING STATEMENT MEANT FOR THOSE TYPE OF BIDDERS.  WHILE THE VAST MAJORITY OF BUYERS PAY FOR WHAT THEY BID ON, WE HAVE RECENTLY SEEN A SIGNIFICANT INCREASE IN UNPAID ITEMS.  SO>>>IF YOU PLAN ON BIDDING PLEASE PLAN ON PAYING.   THANKS.  HAPPY BIDDING.

Lexus LF-LC Blue concept unveiled in Australia

Fri, 19 Oct 2012

Lexus has unveiled a new take on the LF-LC concept—dubbed the LF-LC Blue—at the Australian motor show. The LF-LC Blue builds on the dramatic LF-LC coupe concept that debuted at the 2012 Detroit auto show, featuring the same wildly sculpted aluminum and carbon-fiber body. Lexus is calling concept's color Opal blue, a reference to the iridescent gemstones found in Australia.

Driven: Mini Countryman

Tue, 07 Sep 2010

There has been no more contentious a car launched this year than the Mini Countryman. It's been labeled by some as sacrilegious to the very essence of the Mini brand, of 'selling out' and, yes, of being ugly. But does the concept of a four-meter Mini translate to use in the real world?
