1960s Muntz Stereo very rare 4 track power supply; rat rod.  This came out of a 1965 Chevelle that the original owner installed in the 1960s (It was still mounted on the bottom of the dash when the previous owner removed it [it was in a box of parts when I bought the car]).  I was told recently that this is a very rare 4 track player.  I was under the impression that it was an 8 track system.  The source told me that the main difference is that the 4 track has a capstain that pops up when it is loaded instead of a built-in roller like the 8 track tapes.  My knowledge of these is extremely limited (non-existent actually) so it might be best if you do research on these on Google or other sources.  In good condition.  Sold as is.

Toyota sets Nurburgring record... for fuel economy

Wed, 16 Jul 2014

WHATEVER else you might say about Toyota, it seems the brand has a sense of humour. Driving enthusiasts will hand their (petrol)heads in shame after Toyota completed the 12.9-mile German track at an average of 698mpg. The embarrassingly pedestrian time of 20 minutes and 59 seconds was set by motor journalist and Japanese car expert Joe Clifford, and since Toyota is the first to shame itself with a fuel economy run at the heart of performance car testing, it automatically sets a new efficiency record.

Video: 2014 Jaguar F-Type V8 at speed

Mon, 04 Mar 2013

Sixty years ago, Jaguar test driver Norman Dewis posted a then-world record 172.4 mph flying mile in a Jaguar XK120. The car had no seat and a perspex bubble was fitted over the cockpit to improve airflow. Over last weekend, Jaguar returned to the site of that famous run: Jabbeke, Belgium.

Infiniti Etherea to become B-Class based Infiniti DX

Thu, 15 Sep 2011

Infiniti Etherea will become the B-Class based Infiniti DX in 2014 To be entirely fair, the news that Infiniti is going to be build a compact crossover on the new Mercedes B-Class MFA architecture – and that it is the Etherea Concept forming the basis and likely to be called the Infiniti DX – isn’t a huge surprise. We knew last year when Nissan and Mercedes announced a partnership deal that it would impact on Infiniti as well as Nissan. And the first fruits of that have been confirmed by Carl Ghosn, with the news Infiniti will launch a compact crossover in 2014 using the Mercedes MFA platform which underpins the new B-Class.
