I found an early 60's F-85 convertible in an old yard near me that was nearly 100% complete under the hood. It contained an Oldsmobile 215 aluminum V8 that looked like you could almost fire it up if you put gas and juice to it. The air cleaner had an "ultra high compression" sticker (pictured) and the Rochester 4 Jet was intact mission only a vacuum dashpot on the throttle side. I pulled the whole assembly with the throttle rod and what looked like a tranny kickdown rod, air cleaner assembly. It is pictured just as I pulled it, not cleaned up or anything. I have all the head bolts with it too. I will consider adding a buy-it-now if someone contacts me with a reasonable offer

Wed, 31 Aug 2011Honda's third new 2012 Civic announcement - 31 August 2011 And today Honda shows us this tantalising glimpse of the rear of the new Civic, a couple of weeks before its full unveiling at the 2011 Frankfurt motor show. It reveals an interesting rump clearly inspired by the (at-the-time) space-age rear end of the outgoing Civic, with arrow-shaped back lights seguing into a horizontal spoiler which appears to bisect the rear screen. We'll see the full car on 13 September.

Hoping that the debut of the new Cherokee will revitalize interest in the brand, Jeep has brought a number of concepts to the China auto show in Beijing this week. First up is the Jeep Cherokee Sageland concept, whose design theme and colors were inspired by historical landmarks and scenery of the Shangri-La region, with the SUV's exterior painted in ivory tri-coat pearl with bronze grille collars.
