Light pitting in the chrome overall. With a considerable polishing should be good just for a driver but should be re-chrome plated for show car. No particular scars or scrapes throughout except for a little ding near the bottom end (pictured) which will likely disappear completely when chrome plated again.
Part Brand:Cadillac/General Motors Surface Finish:Chrome Plated Pot-Metal Manufacturer Part Number:4757750 Warranty:No Other Part Number:4810836 (found on identical part) Country/Region of Manufacture:United States Placement on Vehicle:Front

Listing is for an Interior Mirror Stem only (part number 4757750) for Convertible 1961 and 1962 Cadillac interior.  NOTE: mirror and mounting hardware are not included.  We know this to fit 1961 and 1962 Cadillac convertibles and maybe not any of the other models.
INFORMATION:  I have in hand another of these stems for the same purpose and appears visibly identical but with the Part Number # 4810836 cast into the backside.  It was labeled from 1961 Cadillac Convertible.  Maybe differing General Motors Convertibles had differently numbered but identical mirror stems or maybe someone inadvertently used a different part number instead of refreshing the old casting mold, just simply don't have that answer??? Check your application carefully before bidding.
INFORMATION:  Also noted is that another of this identical Mirror Stem in appearance but with Part Number 4810836 came with a handwritten tag stating "1961 1962 CHEV. CAD. OLDS. BUICK. CONVERTIBLE All so BIG 1962 Pontiac Conv." just food for thought for now, as I can't know for sure just the meaning of that tag's information except what we find on the on hand cars.
There is light pitting overall which might polish up good enough for any driver but must be re-chromed for show car application.  There is a very small ding right at the bottom end of the Stem maybe got scraped or could have been factory blemish (pictured).  It appears that the ding will polish out perfectly when chrome plated again.  Does really not show much now and you could miss it if not told about it.  Notice red pencil pointing to the ding in the picture.
We don't have any of the 3 upper mounting screws available but will be listing separately some mirror mount screws and some wavy spring filler washers to fasten the mirror itself to the bottom of this stem.  Please look at other of our listings if you do not already have the mirror mount screw or wavy washer.
We have seen sometimes these Cadillac mirrors listed by other sellers for other GM cars Chevrolet Pontiac Oldsmobile or Buick for these same years but I have no references concerning this application other than for 1961 and 1962 Cadillac and that is because we have 1961 and 1962 Cadillac 2-door coupe/sedans and convertibles available for direct comparison.
E-Mail questions.  PayPal available and required by me from bid winner outside the U.S.A..  Winner pays $6.00 USPS Parcel S&H and $1.00 Insurance within Continental U.S.A.  Outside the U.S.A. e-Mail with delivery address (not just country) for shipping calculation.  We always try to combine shipment of multiple purchases to save the bidder on shipping cost.  Returns only allowed for items delivered not as described in the listing.

MINI Crossman / Countryman on schedule

Thu, 19 Nov 2009

The MINI Crossover Concept. On target for a Geneva launch as the Countryman or Crossman The MINI Crossover – dubbed Crossman or Countryman – has been floating around as a ‘Concept’  since the Paris Motor Show in 2008. We even reported on the MINI Crossman testing back in April, and it’s been expected to launch for quite some time, so to say it’s ‘On Schedlue’ is probably a little misleading.
