Fine pitting in the chrome overall. With a little polishing would be excellent for a driver but should be re-chrome plated for show car. Otherwise no scrapes or scars.
Manufacturer Part Number:4830361 Warranty:No Placement on Vehicle:Front Country/Region of Manufacture:United States Surface Finish:Chrome Plated Pot-Metal Part Brand:Cadillac/General Motors

Listed is for an Interior Mirror Stem only for 1961 and 1962 Cadillac interior, mirror and mounting hardware is not included.  We know this to fit 1962 and probably 1961 Cadillac 2-door sedan cars, not sure of fit for large cars like the 4-door sedan and limos and NOT correct fit for convertible.  Backside cast-in Part Number is "4830361".  Check your application carefully before bidding.
There is fine pitting overall which would likely polish up good enough for any driver but should likely be chrome plated again for show car application.  We don't have any of the 3 upper mounting screws available but will be listing separately some mirror mount screws and some wavy spring filler washers to fasten the mirror itself to the bottom of this stem.  Please look at other listings if you do not already have the mirror mount screw or wavy washer.
We have seen sometimes these Cadillac mirrors listed by other sellers for other GM cars Chevrolet Pontiac Oldsmobile or Buick for these same years but I have no references concerning this application other than for 1961 and 1962 Cadillac and that is because we have 1962 Cadillac 2-door coupe/sedans and convertibles available for direct comparison.
E-Mail questions.  PayPal available and required by me from bid winner outside the U.S.A..  Winner pays $6.00 USPS Parcel S&H and $1.00 Insurance within Continental U.S.A.  Outside the U.S.A. e-Mail with delivery address for shipping calculation.  We always try to combine shipment of multiple purchases to save the bidder on shipping cost.  Returns only allowed for items delivered not as described in the listing.

2015 Ford Mustang spied wearing a funny hat

Wed, 28 Aug 2013

In an attempt to hide its secrecy while on Detroit's roadways, Ford has opted to give its Mustang some, uh, unusual camouflage. Is that a two-seater sports car, or a Morris Oxford? Is the Stay-Puft Man going out for a drive?

F1 Korean Grand Prix: Red Bull CGI Video

Sun, 17 Oct 2010

Red Bull treat us to a CGI of the new F1 track in South Korea The F1 Circus gets bigger and bigger every year as Bernie Ecclestone continues his aim to host a Grand Prix in every country that can scrape together a few hundred million to add to the bank of Ecclestone. And one of the newest to succumb to the charms of Bernie and F1 is South Korea. There have been doubts that South Korea would get their act together and have their shiny new F1 facility ready to roll for 24th October (next Sunday), but it looks like the track has been signed off for next week’s race.

The big prize awaits on the Autoweek America Adventure

Tue, 01 Nov 2011

It is the last morning of the Autoweek America Adventure, as I write this. Our traveling circus heads toward the big top in an hour or so, and we should be in Las Vegas before noon. There is anticipation in the air, unlike other rallies I've attended, as this one has a significant main prize: a 2011 Mopar Charger will be given to one lucky contestant on the stage at the Specialty Equipment Market Association convention.
