Up for auction is a nice used upper steering column finish / gear selector panel removed from a 1961 Sedan DeVille. The same is applicable to all 1961 - 1962 Cadillac models with the exception of the 75 Series cars. Although this piece would need to be sanded and re-finished in the color of your choice, it is extremely straight and free from any defects. Item will be shipped via the USPS for a flat rate fee of $10.95 to anywhere within the continental US. General Motors will prep plants in 2012 for next-generation pickups
Mon, 04 Jul 2011General Motors will begin retooling assembly plants next year to build the next generation of its full-sized pickups, GM's U.S. sales chief Don Johnson said. "We have some scheduled plant downtime in 2012 as we convert to the next generation of our pickups," he said.

The new five-seater Symbol features the carmaker's latest design cues such as the larger front logo that sits in a more upright position in the middle of a wide, black and chrome-trimmed grille strip. Another black chrome-trimmed grille strip that integrates the fog lamps is located underneath the license plate while the headlamps taper slightly into the side.

New 3-cylinder engines arrive for the Polo with two new 1.0 litre petrols with 60PS or 75 PS, two 1.2 litre petrols with 90 or 110PS and and extra 10-PS for the 1.4 litre, which also gets cylinder deactivation. The diesel BlueMotion also gets dropped in favour of a petrol BlueMotion offering 68.9mpg from its 1.0 litre 3-pot and there’s a pair of 1.4 litre diesels with 75 or 90PS replacing the old 1.2 and 1.6 litre diesels.
