Torrington, Connecticut, United States
I recently bought out the contents of a brake repair shop that has been closed for years. Most of the drums I will be listing are either NOS or have been turned at one point in time and stored on shelves. This is a turned front brake drum. The part number marked on it is X-30572. According to the parts catalog it is correct for: - 1960 - 1969 Ford (All exc. disc brakes) Front brake size 11 1/32" x 3". - 1961 - 1969 Mercury (All exc. disc brakes) Front brake size 11 1/32" x 3". Thanks for looking... |

How Lexus execs rescued the GS sedan
Mon, 22 Aug 2011Eighteen months ago, Toyota had all but scrapped its plans for the redesigned Lexus GS 350 sedan that was unveiled in Monterey, Calif., last week. At the time, the company was pouring engineering resources into resolving its unintended acceleration crisis and was busy changing quality and safety procedures. Plus, the GS' underwhelming sales in the United States and Europe made for a weak business case against the Mercedes E-class and BMW 5-series.
Ford Verve Sedan
Thu, 22 Nov 2007Just as Mazda is exhibiting a sedan version of the 2 at Auto Guangzhou, the automaker's parent company, Ford, is revealing a sedan version of the Verve concept. The second in a series of concepts that will culminate with yet another variant set to be unveiled in Detroit, this 'notchback' provides further insight to the future small car design direction for Ford. Ford's European design team, which created the Verve concepts, applied Ford's kinetic design philosophy and built on the look of its hatchback sibling.
It's (almost) alive: General Motors and NASA develop a humanlike robot for the International Space Station
Wed, 14 Apr 2010General Motors and NASA have teamed up to develop Robonaut 2, which will be the first humanlike robot to take up permanent residence on the International Space Station. Known as R2, the 300-pound robot will use its “hands” and “arms” to utilize the tools of the station. It will assist astronauts, which GM says has parallels with helping its workers in factories.
